Please note that this position is based in Princeton NJ. Acadias hybrid model requires this role to work on average three days per week in our office.
Position Summary
The Director International Commercial Partnerships will oversee and manage all partner markets in assigned geographies outside of North America and Europe for Acadia products ensuring that partners proactively execute Acadia named patient program & commercialization strategies for our portfolio of innovative rare disease treatments. This individual will ensure compliance with all agreed parameters of the Acadia-Partner contract. This individual will be the primary contact point for all assigned Acadia partner markets and accountable for compliant execution of named patient programs and/or revenue targets in partner markets. This multi-skilled role will be a key cross-functional interface between Acadia headquarters and partners. The successful candidate will be both strategic and operational and participate in regional/key market activities.
Primary Responsibilities
- Contributes to the development review and implementation of the long and short-term business strategies to optimize assigned partner markets for future and current products and development of strategic and operational plans
- Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with the partners ensuring alignment with program objectives timelines and quality standards aligned to global brand strategy
- Collaborate with local regional and global cross-functional teams to address program requirements and challenges
- Ensures detailed pre-launch and post-launch tracking of agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPI) to allow early course correction and ensure execution of key tactics
- Ensures high quality revenue patient and volume forecasting including supply readiness and brand investments
- Oversee partners to ensure Acadia materials & strategy are transferred to partner at appropriate time points and implementation is to Acadia standards and compliance requirements
- Conduct business review with partners and ensure implementation of corrective plans as needed to maintain superior performance
- Collaborates learnings and best practices with leadership headquarters and with partner
- Monitor and maintain in-depth understanding of legal regulatory and reimbursement dynamics within territories
- Other responsibilities as assigned
Education/Experience/Skills
- Bachelors degree in Marketing Business Administration Health Economics Life Science or related field. Targeting 10 years of progressively responsible experience within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry including Commercial experience. Must be fluent in English. An equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be considered.

Physical Requirements
This role involves regular standing walking sitting and the use of hands for handling or operating equipment. The employee may also need to reach climb balance stoop kneel crouch and maintain visual verbal and auditory communication in a standard office environment and while working independently from remote locations. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. This position requires the ability to travel independently overnight and/or work after hours as required by travel schedules or business needs.
