Job Description

As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Enterprise Technology you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure stable and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firms business objectives.
Job Responsibilities
- Design and develop ETL processes using Ab Initio.
- Implement efficient ETL workflows for data movement and transformation.
- Design and implement data models for warehousing and intelligence needs.
- Ensure data accuracy completeness and consistency.
- Optimize performance of Ab Initio graphs and components.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in data pipelines.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver effective data solutions.
Required Qualifications Capabilities and Skills
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3 years applied experience.
- Deep knowledge of ETL methodologies and data warehousing principles.
- Proficiency in AWS Databricks PySpark.
- Strong SQL skills for querying and manipulating data.
- Familiarity with UNIX/Linux commands and shell scripting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
Preferred Qualifications Capabilities and Skills
- Familiarity with modern front-end technologies.
- Exposure to cloud technologies.
- Proficiency in Ab Initio components and best practices.
