Job Description
Position Summary:
The Quality Engineer role supports quality services and site to plan direct and implement Syntegons Quality management programs and to ensure a positive safe healthy and incident-free work environment.
Essential Functions:
- Responsible for supporting the sites Business Management System (QMS EMS OHSMS) writing procedures processes and instructions.
- Lead and undertake audits across all areas of the business as well as across the supply chain.
- Facilitate organization and leadership development efforts to address the root cause of quality related issues.
- Manage key quality processes (i.e. document control auditing non-conforming).
- Support quality systems by collecting and providing information to internal and external customers
- Interact with external customers/suppliers on issues such as complaints improvement plans documentation returned material authorization (RMA) etc
Qualifications :
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in engineering/manufacturing or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar quality role.
- Excellent communication skills including written verbal listening and customer service skills with the ability to effectively communicate with and work well with others in order to manage projects meetings.
- Familiar with using various office equipment computers and various programs including Word Outlook PowerPoint Excel networking and cloud-based systems.
- Have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence people and drive change
Preferred Requirements:
- The Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification beneficial
- External auditor certification ISO9001 ISO14001 ISO45001 highly desirable
- Familiarity with risk assessment methodologies and incident investigation techniques
- Has the ability to deliver internal training effectively
Additional Information :
The expected compensation range for this position is between $80000 - $110000 annually.
Compensation for roles at Syntegon varies depending on a wide array of non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to the specific office location role degree/credentials relevant skill set and level of relevant experience.
