Job Description
In this role you will:Write SoC and CPU directed and random testsDebug issues pre-silicon or post-siliconDevelop and maintain system-level SW platformLead SW development and execution plans of SoC projectsWork with designers and architects to accomplish validation with other teams at Apple to develop validation strategies based on product needs
- A minimum of a BS degree and a minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience in silicon validation software engineering or related field
- SOC and CPU knowledge; consider the following:
- -Micro-architecture
- -Memory hierarchy
- -Interrupt and DMA
- -Clock and Power Gating.
- -Experience with SoC bringup
- -Experienced C/C and Assembly language programmer
- -Expertise in Embedded programming with an understanding of hardware-software interfaces
- -Experience with scopes is a plus.
- -System level understanding.
- -Knowledge of Hardware and Software debug tools and methods
