Job Title: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
Location: Correctional Facility in Vacaville California
Employment Type: Part-Time Contract (Eligible for extension)
Pay Range: $77.31 - $79.31 per hour
Position Overview
We are seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to provide behavioral health support in a correctional facility setting located in Vacaville CA. This part-time contract role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a structured care environment with the potential for contract extension or long-term state employment with full benefits if available.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as clinician-of-the-day for patient emergencies as scheduled
- Conduct psychosocial assessments and gather patient history through interviews
- Identify actual and potential behavioral health diagnoses and patient needs
- Plan and implement appropriate patient care plans based on clinical findings
- Collaborate with primary care providers psychiatrists and dependency programs
- Maintain timely thorough and accurate patient documentation
- Respond to patient calls and coordinate follow-ups or referrals promptly
- Deliver patient-centered care with a strong focus on safety accuracy and empathy
Required Qualifications
- Experience: At least 12 continuous months within the last 3 years providing direct patient care in a public or private setting
- Licensure: Active California LCSW license (hard copy required)
- BLS Certification: Current Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association
- Identification: Valid photo ID Drivers License or Passport
