Maintenance Technician Kansas City KS
Starting Pay: $30.00.
Day Shift: 7am 3:30pm Monday Friday. Overtime and weekends as needed.
As a Maintenance Technician at PPG Kansas City KS plant you will be a critical part of the production team ensuring that all equipment and machinery are performing at top notch! You will report to the Maintenance Manager. Your work will directly affect peoples lives!

Key Responsibilities
- Install new equipment or machinery.
- Repair sophisticated equipment building systems by diagnosing problems and replacing or repairing parts.
- Perform preventative maintenance per schedule and instructions following safety guidelines.
- Promote and utilize 5-S standards for the line and plant to improve efficiency cleanliness and safety.
- Perform wiring pipe fitting welding and sheet metal functions.
- Diagnose issues and work with Maintenance and Operations Team to determine best course of action.
Qualifications
- Three to five years of previous maintenance experience is preferred.
