Position: Inventory Control Coordinator
Location: Miami OK 74354
Duration: 6 Months
Job Type: Contract
Work Type: Onsite
Shift Timings: Monday-Friday 07.00AM-3.30PM
Job Description:
Discover Impactful Work:
  • As Inventory Coordinator I you will be responsible for following all standard operating procedures (SOPs) to complete all internal and external customer requests.
  • Position will be in one of the functional areas of the warehouse including receiving material bin transactions scheduling trucks for incoming and outgoing materials on a daily basis.
A day in the Life:
  • Work safely following all safety requirements.
  • Receiving examining sorting arranging counting items for storage or ship in accordance with established SOP procedures and customer requirements.
  • Cycle counting of raw materials used in production process
  • Prepares accurate documentation requirements for packing and shipping of hazardous chemicals.
  • Practices good housekeeping and keeps inventory neat clean and orderly.
  • Verifies accurate storage conditions of products and notifies Supervisor of any inventory issues that may arise such as Cant Find Expired Product Breakage and Out-Of-Stocks.
  • Assist other team members as needed to ensure customer satisfaction maintain collaborative relationships and teamwork.
  • Other duties as assigned
Keys to Success:
Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience
  • Up to 6 months of work experience in a warehouse environment is preferred.
Knowledge Skills Abilities
  • All employees must be able to read and follow instructions both written and oral
  • Strong attention to detail
  • General warehouse experience.
  • Experience with computers and scanning equipment preferred
  • Knowledge of excel and ERP systems to maneuver through to do transactions.
  • Able to work independently and possess problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to add subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers common fractions and decimal
  • Strong verbal/written communication skills; ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to stand and move about including reaching bending stooping grasping pushing pulling and repetitive motion
  • Ability to use PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and understand chemical hygiene including labels and SDS (Safety Data Sheets)
  • Flexibility/willingness to adapt to operational needs
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced controlled environment with additional overtime as required
Physical Requirements / Work Environment
  • While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand.
  • Specific PPE is required; including gloves hair & beard net safety glasses with no makeup/jewelry and the like 50% office work/ 50% warehouse inventory position
