Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control inspector for a Joplin-based machine shop. The Quality Control role ensures that all manufactured products meet the highest standards of quality safety and compliance with ISO and AS9000 standards. This position offers weekly pay benefits and the opportunity to join a client that provides excellent pay benefits and an ESOP program once hired permanent.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough quality inspections during the manufacturing process to verify compliance with ISO and AS9000 standards
Perform quality audits and document findings for continuous improvement
Use precision measuring instruments such as CMMs calipers micrometers and vision inspection systems
Implement and monitor HACCP protocols to ensure food safety where applicable
Analyze inspection data and prepare detailed reports on quality performance metrics
Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and corrective actions
Support the maintenance of quality systems to improve reliability and customer satisfaction

Requirements & Skills

Prior experience with QA/QC processes and quality audits in a manufacturing environment
Ability to interpret technical data and use precision measuring instruments
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Reliable transportation and ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
Must have the experience required for this job

Physical Demands & Safety

The Quality Control position requires standing for extended periods attention to detail in a fast-paced environment and strong communication skills to work effectively with production teams.
