Responsibilities to Anticipate:
Performs maintenance tasks and/or assisting maintenance craftsmen in the performance of their duties. Responsible for adding of chemicals and lubricating the moving parts of an assigned group of machines and mechanical equipment according to instructions and/or conformity with established charts and preventative maintenance instructions. Performs maintains and develops gardening work of company lawns gardens trees yards and other outside areas. Services automobiles trucks by washing refueling polishing. Operates heavy equipment such as backhoes dump trucks graders rollers and front end loaders. Must also operate power-sweeping equipment.
Qualifications You Must Have:
6 month of experience in the following:
- Heavy equipment operation of small backhoe power sweeper or Bobcat type tractor.
- Use of oils and greases including tools required for oiling and greasing of industrial and manufacturing equipment. Adding and mixing coolant for manufacturing machines
- Gardening and landscaping including such tasks as planting and pruning applying herbicides insecticides and operating related power equipment.
- Must have experience using precision measuring tools.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. secret clearance prior to the start date. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
- The ability to obtain and maintain an Alcohol Tobacco Firearms and Explosives Access (ATF) clearance.

Additional Details:
This position is part of a collective bargaining agreement. Wage and work place conditions including shift times are subject to this agreement. Individuals hired into this position will be represented by a union.
This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance. Non-US citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance. The Defense Industrial Security Clearance Office (DISCO) an agency of the Department of Defense handles and adjudicates the security clearance process.
