A Day in the Life

The Training Coordinator IV leads a small team of trainers to drive training and education of existing employees at the Boulder CO site.

  • Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
  • Support and coordinates training activities in all shifts.
  • Responsible for providing guidance coaching and training to other employees within job area.
  • Plans develops and coordinates in-house training programs for support personnel.
  • Obtains information needed to prepare in-house training programs; prepares training materials; develops course content; determines methodology; and coordinates the development of training aids.
  • Ensures training program(s) meets company objectives.
  • Measure effectiveness of training.
  • Continuously revises lesson plans to meet new training requirements and to keep technical information up to date.
  • Participate in all areas supporting the development co-ordination implementation and monitoring Cornerstone training electronic system
  • Support team initiatives for continuous improvement.
  • Support the deployment and training of new tools and systems for ease of work.
  • Communicate effectively across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead and support small scale projects on functional/business initiatives as they arise.
  • Support the team for procedures documentation updates project trackers and dashboards.
  • Work shift hours are: Monday-Friday between 6:45 AM-2:45 pm and occasionally perform training and certifications process at the second and third shift.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

  • Requires High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • 8 years of relevant experience in supporting training adult learning and team development

Nice to Have:

  • Direct experience leading training and education teams

  • Previous manufacturing training experience

  • Knowledge of Medtronics Training within Industry program Continuous Skill Development (CSD)

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word Excel Power Point)

  • Previous experience supporting employee training in a manufacturing environment

  • A positive attitude towards taking responsibility and ownership of tasks and outcomes.

  • An ability to think on your feet and find effective solutions to challenges that arise.

  • Comfort and adaptability in handling a variety of tasks.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey information clearly and effectively to large groups.

  • A keen eye for detail to ensure precision and accuracy in all tasks.

  • Some administrative experience

  • Take initiative to innovate and develop operating mechanisms that improve the overall team performance

  • Strong organizational and presentation skills.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$60000.00 - $90000.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Operations Incentive Plan (OIP).

The base salary range is applicable across the United States excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience certification/education market conditions and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
