Job Description
What you will do
As a Senior Extrusion Technician you will be the go-to expert supporting our Polymer Manufacturing Polymer Extrusion MicroShunt Molding and MicroShunt Packaging department. Your hands-on technical skills will help drive excellence in production and innovation.
Your primary responsibilities for this position will include working with extrusion and extrusion-related equipment. Furthermore your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Ability to assemble break down and clean extruder components.
Capable of troubleshooting issues that can arise during extrusion runs.
Follow approved procedures such as OPS QLPs etc. for activities conducted.
Complete training on the approved procedures and testing methods.
Document activities in accordance with operation procedures and applicable general operating procedures.
Assist in performing and recording scheduled preventive maintenance per InnFocus GOPs.
Assist in IQ/OQ/PQs of new equipment.
Assure that all measuring instruments that are used are within calibration limits.
Assure individual and group safety when conducting all activities.
Qualifications :
What you will bring to the role
Bachelors degree in a scientific field or equivalent experience (High School Diploma required)
7 years of technician experience with at least 3 years in extrusion.
5 years in medical device and or pharmaceutical manufacturing
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
