Job Description

  • One Full Time and one Part Time (48 hours per fortnight - 0.63 FTE) positions available to August 2026 Clerical Worker HS1 Classification $33.63 per hour 12 % super salary packaging benefits

The Opportunity

Join the Client Services team as a Client Services Officer where you will be the face of the organisation as the first point of contact for client enquiries via phone and face to face assisting with accessing of services including performing triage screening of clients as identified making appointments data entry and management of client health data and records. Within this diverse role you will be showcasing your exceptional customer service and administrative skills. You will apply your Dental Allied Health and technical knowledge in using various client management systems. While the position is based at our St Albans campus you may be required to work at any other of our campuses.

These are Full Time and Part Time fixed term positions to August 2026 and are classified under theVictorian Stand-Alone Community Health Services (Health and Allied Services Managers And Administrative Officers) Multiple Enterprise Agreement 2022-2026.

You will make a difference by

  • Providing responsive and welcoming services which includes serving clients answering incoming phone calls and communication with key stakeholders in a positive efficient and timely manner.
  • Ensuring positive and effective working relationships are generated and maintained via open communication and the sharing of knowledge that will result in enhanced client experience.
  • Maintaining client confidentiality and discretion regarding client information appointments and client interactions.
  • Ensuring Team Leader and Manager are aware of any issues which may impact on service delivery and or any issues which may impact on the team.

To succeed you will need

  • Previous experience in customer service preferably within the medical community dental and/or health environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure in a high-pressure environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work cohesively within a team environment and ability to work autonomously.
  • Demonstrated high level interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated high level complaint resolution skills and experience in dealing with challenging behaviours.
