Job Description

Job Summary:
As our HR Generalist youll be the go-to person for all things HR! Youll work closely with our team to recruit top talent foster a positive work environment and ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations. Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment & Onboarding: Manage full-cycle recruiting develop job descriptions source candidates conduct interviews and facilitate a comprehensive onboarding experience for new hires.
- Employee Relations: Serve as a primary point of contact for employee questions and concerns investigate and resolve employee relations issues and champion company culture and employee engagement initiatives.
- Benefits & Compensation Administration: Administer employee benefits programs manage open enrollment and assist with compensation analysis.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations maintain accurate employee records and partner with our Safety Director and General Counsel to support OSHA compliance and safety training initiatives.
- HR Administration & Systems: Maintain our HRIS develop and implement HR policies and procedures and prepare reports and analyze HR metrics.

Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field preferred.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in an HR Generalist role with experience in the construction manufacturing or a similar industrial/blue-collar environment strongly preferred.
- Certification: SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred.
- Knowledge: Solid understanding of employment law and HR best practices and familiarity with OSHA regulations and workers compensation procedures highly desirable.

Skills:
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
  • High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with HRIS platforms
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
