About the Team

The AEMO People and Culture (P&C) team help support AEMO in building an adaptive consumer-focused and commercial workplace. Were committed to attracting developing and retaining top talent fostering future-ready skills and creating a culture where everyone can thrive.

About the role

As part of the P&C HR Shared Services team youll deliver practical HR support and advice partnering closely with the business. Youll interpret policy ensure compliance with state and federal legal and regulatory frameworks and collaborate with specialist P&C areas to drive positive organisational outcomes.

What you will be doing

  • Deliver practical HR support and advice partnering closely across AEMO divisions.
  • Interpret and operationalise HR policies ensuring compliance and guiding employees and people leaders.
  • Support organisational change workplace relations and remuneration with Senior HR Business Partners.
  • Manage the full employee lifecycle including internal movements and offboarding.
  • Setting the standards for compliance and governance for personnel records
  • Stay current with employment legislation and deliver clear data-driven insights reports to the business.

What you will bring to the role

  • Tertiary qualifications in HR or related fields such as; Business Commerce or Psychology is required
  • Proficient with HR systems and Microsoft Office
  • Experience in interpreting and providing policy and Enterprise Agreement advice
  • Demonstrated experience partnering with business or business units
  • Excellent multitasking and prioritisation abilities
  • Strong problem-solving and practical skills
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication with ability to quickly build trust
