Job Purpose:
We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual with expertise in Microsoft Teams Rooms and related audio-visual collaboration technologies. This role combines deep technical knowledge with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to ensure seamless operation of collaboration tools and provide premium white glove support to executives and senior leadership during meetings and events. The ideal candidate has experience managing and troubleshooting advanced conferencing systems while delivering personalized high-quality assistance to VIP stakeholders.

Principal Responsibilities:
Technical Expertise:
- Configure maintain and troubleshoot Microsoft Teams Rooms equipment including cameras microphones speakers and displays.
- Implement and manage associated collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams-certified peripherals conference phones and AV integration systems.
- Perform system updates firmware upgrades and proactive equipment maintenance to ensure optimum performance and reliability.
- Monitor and manage Microsoft Teams Rooms deployments across organizational locations ensuring scalability and functionality.
- Collaborate with IT and AV teams on troubleshooting diagnostics and root cause analysis for complex technical issues.
Executive Meeting Support & White Glove Service:
- Deliver personalized hands-on support for executives during virtual hybrid and in-person meetings to ensure smooth logistics and technology operation.
- Set up and test equipment in advance of meetings including video conferencing systems presentation software and related AV technologies.
- Provide real-time troubleshooting and technical assistance during high-profile meetings striving for flawless experiences.
- Tailor meeting room technology setups to meet the specific needs and preferences of executives.
- Anticipate potential challenges and proactively implement solutions to minimize disruptions.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism while interacting with senior leadership.
Training & User Support:
- Educate executives and meeting participants on how to use Microsoft Teams Rooms and related conference technology effectively.
- Develop and deliver training materials guides and onboarding sessions to promote ease of use and adoption.
- Act as the primary point of contact for executives seeking assistance with collaboration tools.
Collaboration & Process Improvement:
- Partner with internal teams including IT Facilities and AV departments to ensure the seamless integration of collaboration technologies across the organization.
- Continuously assess meeting technology processes workflows and user feedback to identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
Technical Skills:
- Proven experience with Microsoft Teams Rooms systems including design installation and troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of audio-visual technologies including cameras microphones speakers and digital displays.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Teams-certified peripherals (e.g. Crestron Poly Logitech Yealink) and related platforms like Zoom Cisco Webex or Google Meet.
- Working knowledge of networking principles including IP configurations VPNs and firewalls.
- Experience with troubleshooting video conferencing errors and AV system connectivity issues.
Soft Skills:
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to interact positively and confidently with executives and senior leaders.
- Highly customer-focused approach with an emphasis on delivering white glove service.
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure especially in troubleshooting scenarios during live events.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Other Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in information technology Audio-Visual Technology or a related field (preferred but not required).
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Teams Rooms Solutions Expert Microsoft Certified: Teams Administrator Associate or AV certifications like CTS (Certified Technology Specialist).
- 5 years of experience in AV support or collaboration technology roles.
