Description: The Propulsion SSTM is the single contact point between Propulsion System and CVEs (Advanced Vehicle / Platform & Modules / Top Hat)
Is accountable for Development Timing & KPI for Integration Components Propulsion Systems SW & Calibration
SSTMs provide timely proactive and transparent communication between PRS and Vehicle Teams in both directions:
Keeping the Vehicle updated on PRS issues and sharing with PRS the Vehicle issues and needs
Understanding the issues and driving the priorities inside PRS and escalating PRS needs to the Vehicle Team
Accountable for:
Coordinates Propulsion System team during Bulletin studies phase interacting with Planning and VEMO teams
Ensures communication between the Propulsion System team and Platforms / Top Hats CVE Teams
For Programs with an assigned System Chief the SSTM is part of the System Table supporting the complete development of the systems consistently with the QCTP targets addressing the various needs concerns and expectations with the Vehicle Team
For Programs without an assigned System Chief where the Engine Chief acts as System Chief (Technical lead & overall QCTP coordination through System Table) the SSTM additionally covers Timing & Cost at system level working with Sub-System leads (according to ref. RASI)
Monitors the application plans (hardware) and consistency with the development timing
Monitoring and tracking of all vehicle KPI during the project development
Coordinates the Propulsion System team in order to meet the BOM and changes management process requirements
Oversees remotely in vehicle plant build stages and the start of production supported by the appropriate on-site Launch Support resources7
