Job Description
The Catalog Coordinator plays a central role in shaping how students faculty and advisors interact with academic programs courses and policies. This position leads the annual university academic catalog editing and publication cyclesetting timelines managing user access coordinating content updates across Colleges and Departments and ensuring the catalog reflects approved curriculum and policy changes. The Coordinator is responsible for maintaining catalog version control and integrations formatting and editing content for clarity and consistency and developing new and improved catalog management processes. Working at the crossroads of academic policy technology and communication this role offers the opportunity to collaborate across departments and make a direct impact on student success. Youll also support critical functions like curriculum coding graduation data accuracy and system integrations that help academic and student support processes run smoothly.
Required Qualifications
Experience with data entry and database systems proficiency with Microsoft Office products such as Word and Excel. Experience in an office or higher education environment managing cross-functional processes. Excellent communication attention to detail and project management skills. Ability to develop and maintain thorough documentation and provide training to various stakeholders. Demonstrated planning and problem-solving skills. Ability to balance multiple competing priorities and cyclical time-sensitive work. Strong communication and customer service skills to adequately serve students faculty administrators parents and alumni.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in catalog curriculum or academic records management. Experience with curriculum governance processes and academic policy implementation. Experience working with SIS platforms and catalog/curriculum management systems. Strong understanding of academic programs curriculum structures and data management practices. Working knowledge of academic program requirements and graduation policies and procedures.
