Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Import/Export Operations:Oversee the movement of goods from origin to destination including coordinating transportation managing schedules and ensuring timely delivery.
- Handle Documentation:Prepare and process all necessary import and export documentation such as customs declarations permits and licenses.
- Ensure Compliance:Stay up-to-date with and ensure compliance with all relevant international trade regulations customs laws and company policies.
- Liaise with Stakeholders:Communicate effectively with freight forwarders customs brokers shipping lines and internal teams to facilitate smooth operations.
- Optimize Logistics:Identify opportunities to improve efficiency reduce costs and streamline processes within the import/export function.
- Manage Inventory:Assist with inventory management ensuring accurate records and efficient storage of goods.
- Resolve Issues:Address and resolve any problems or delays that may arise during the import/export process.
- Maintain Records:Keep accurate records of all import/export activities including shipment details documentation and compliance information.
Requirements
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain management principles .
- Knowledge of international trade regulations and customs procedures .
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills .
- Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite .
- Analytical and problem-solving skills .
- Organizational and time management skills .
- Attention to detail and accuracy .
- Bachelors degree in Logistics Supply Chain Management or related field .
- 2 years of experience in logistics or supply chain roles .
Benefits
Salary: 300k and above depending on experience.
