You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe Department of Radiology University of Wisconsin - Madison School of Medicine & Public Health is seeking a full-time (100% FTE) Accountant. This position will be part of a growing finance team in the Department of Radiology and will provide financial management and transaction processing. This position has a large portfolio and is the main resource for Department activities relating to reimbursements payments purchasing and tracking of all expenses. The position serves as the first point of contact for Department faculty staff for advice direction training and problem resolution relating to financial transactions and processes.
The work schedule is flexible and will be determined at the time of hire.
While most work will be performed remotely some tasks may require in person work at a designated campus location.
Applicants for this position will be considered for the following titles listed in this posting: Accountant I or Accountant II. The title is determined by the experience and qualifications of the finalist.

The starting salary for this position is a minimum of $59000/year: but is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
Experience with reimbursement processes including gathering and organizing supporting documentation.
Experience working in a higher education setting.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Excellent organizational and time managment skills with a prove ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Effective communication skills and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Associates Degree Preferred; focus in Finance Accounting Business Administration or a similar field.
