The Role
The ABC is looking for an Assistant Accountant to join the centralised accounts team based in Collinswood Adelaide. The role will see you support the invoicing and accounting functions across the division by assisting in maintaining the integrity of the general ledger supporting the Accounts Team Leader and providing assistance with asset accounting processes.
The Job
- Prepare and/or review balance sheet reconciliations.
- Ensure the completion of vendor confirmations review and approval of domestic and overseas payment runs.
- Coordination and maintenance of recurring payments vendor account reconciliations and review of daily customer receipts.
- Assistance with collection of aged debts and handling of queries.
- Support the Asset Accountant with the annual asset administration managing the asset accounting email inbox as a backup assistance with processing forms and updating the asset register reporting and reconciliations regarding assets.

About You
You are looking to invigorate your career will hold tertiarylevel qualification in accounting and ideally some relevant work experience in accounts receivable and accounting.
Youll also be able to demonstrate:
- Accomplished ability to develop and maintain strong internal and external stakeholder relationships.
- Keen attention to detail advanced analytical skills and the ability to problem solve a broad range of technical accounts queries.
- Intermediate skills in MS Excel.
- Demonstrated experience in supervising a small team.
- Effective time-management skills with ability to work towards deadlines.
- Good communication skills both verbal and written.
- Preferred experience with SAP Finance.
