The Art Assistants primary responsibility is to support the smooth and successful operation of BFCCPS Art classes through direct assistance to the Art Teacher and support of students during art class. This will involve supervising instruction under teacher guidance and maintaining classroom management; supervising and guiding students in the use of appropriate materials and techniques; storing maintaining and preparing resources; and encouraging and facilitating effective use of the materials and space by students. BFCCPS opened in 1995 as one of the first Charter Schools in Massachusetts.
