In this pivotal role youll be at the heart of the Councils decision-making processes working closely with senior officers Councillors and members of the public. Youll play a key part in supporting how decisions are made and communicated ensuring transparency and accountability every step of the way.

About You
To be considered for the higher Grade G position you will need to have experience of committees/meetings administration including: the production and publication of agendas attendance at meetings the preparation of minutes and giving procedural advice to ensure compliance with good governance. This would be particularly suitable for someone with Local Government/Public Sector experience looking to develop their career.
However consideration will be given to candidates for a trainee position on the lower Grade F for which training will be given. Appointments to a trainee post will usually be at the bottom of the scale with progression subject to satisfactory performance and further advancement to the higher grade subject to demonstration of the required competencies.
Location
This role will require you to work from County Hall on a regular basis to prepare for and attend committee meetings in person. You will be able to forward plan according to the committees assigned to you but occasionally you may be asked to cover at short notice for a colleague.
