- Senior Executive Band 1 role
- Ongoing full-time
- Total remuneration package $263098 - $287201
About the role:
The Assistant Commissioner sets the strategic direction and leads the planning and delivery for FRNSW Regional Operations. As a member of the Executive Leadership Team the role is accountable for the day-to-day service delivery of Regional Operations including the delivery of prevention fire suppression hazmat rescue and emergency services to industry and the community.
About you:
To be successful in the role you will have:
- Operational experience and expertise within an emergency services environment
- Demonstrated knowledge of contemporary issues challenges and approaches to emergency service
- Exceptional leadership capability and presence
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Demonstrated financial acumen
Essential Requirements:
- Post graduate tertiary qualification and/or significant professional experience in the discipline
- Emergency management qualifications to enable fulfilment of legislative requirements of the role
