About the Role
We are seeking a hands-on Staff Accountant to join our Princeton headquarters playing a critical role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting process.
As a Staff Accountant you will support the month-end and year-end close processes manage journal entries and reconcile accounts in alignment with GAAP standards. This is an in-person role five days a week offering the opportunity to work closely with ISMGs Controller and collaborate cross-functionally with the Finance Operations and HR teams.
NetSuite experience is a must as our financial systems and reporting workflows are heavily dependent on the platform.

Responsibilities
- Perform monthly quarterly and year-end close activities ensuring deadlines and compliance standards are met.
- Prepare post and maintain accurate journal entries including accruals amortizations and prepaid expenses.
- Conduct detailed general ledger account reconciliations including bank statements credit cards and intercompany balances.
- Assist with the preparation of internal and external financial reports ensuring data accuracy and proper formatting.
- Collaborate with the Controller to maintain audit-ready documentation financial schedules and supporting records.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with GAAP and support implementation of accounting best practices.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency in day-to-day accounting operations.
- Provide ad hoc financial analysis and support to various departments as needed.
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance required.
- 25 years of professional accounting experience preferably in a corporate or media environment.
- Proficiency with NetSuite ERP is a must.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Strong attention to detail organization and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables lookups) and comfort with cloud-based financial systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
