Job Description

Job ID: 40378 Location: Barcelona Barcelona Spain

To lead and optimize Clariants cloud infrastructure by driving cost optimization initiatives fostering innovation ensuring service delivery excellence and collaborating with stakeholders to align IT investments with business goals in a global matrix environment.


Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with architects cloud engineers & project managers toanalyse and optimize cloud infrastructure ensuring that the companys IT investments align with business goals.
  • Leading cost optimization & avoidance efforts initiatives from initiation planning through execution to transition to operation and closure.
  • Bringing innovation & consolidation to Clariant global IT infrastructure cloud solutions & services.
  • Working close with cloud vendors stakeholders senior management and IT specialists.
  • Taking accountability for service delivery performance meeting customer expectations.
  • Execution of support operations like Incident Management Change Management Problem Management Service Requests SLA Status reports Dashboards etc.
  • Providing accurate and regular reports to the management on performance of the service delivery
  • Taking ownership of critical incidents coordinating with resolution parties and establishing effective communication between stakeholders for post-incident reviews.
  • Thriving in a matrix work environment requires strong leadership communication and problem-solving skills.

Requirements

  • Higher education or equivalent degree in information management computer science business management or similar.
  • 5-7 years experience in managing IT cloud costs and finding optimization areas.
  • 3-5 years experience in service delivery role within IT infrastructure team - managing costs contracts & vendors.
  • Cloud FinOps practitioner background & certifications.
  • ITIL certification.
  • Agile/SCRUM tools experience especially JIRA (platforma to organise tasks).
  • Practical knowledge of cloud platforms and solutions especially AWS & Azure.
  • Effectively manage vendors to maintain support and deliver new features in a cost-effective manner.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail is key for the success in this role.
  • Strong analytical time management and facilitation skills.
