Job Summary
The Assistant Director of Curriculum and Program Operations (DCPO) plays a vital leadership role within Arapahoe Community Colleges Early Childhood Lab School ensuring the delivery of high-quality developmentally appropriate education for children ages 12 months to 5 years. This position supports the Lab Schools mission as a model site for best practices in early childhood education fostering a rich learning environment for young children while also mentoring and guiding Early Childhood Education (ECE) students through practicum observation and research experiences. The DCPO is instrumental in bridging theory and practice nurturing both the growth of future educators and the well-being of the children in their care.
Qualifications
- Masters degree in early childhood education Human Development and Family Studies Psychology or a related field from an accredited institution OR an equivalent of education and experience. Experience will not count towards requirements below.
- Minimum three years experience administrating/directing an early childhood education program.
- Currently have or be able to obtain a large center Director qualification letter issued by the Colorado Office of Early Childhood
