The elementary/middle school mathematics interventionist will provide focused interventions in two schools to small groups of students in accordance with the state MTSS plan. Essential Functions1. Provides direct instruction to students identified as eligible for math services in small group settings.2. Regularly analyzes data and monitors student progress. 3. Uses identified needs to guide the learning process toward student achievement with the intention of closing achievement gaps. 3. Establishes clear objectives for all lessons using formal and informal assessment data obtained from students. 4. Uses a variety of specialized instructional practices to support the needs and capabilities of the student groups involved. 5. Creates a classroom environment and research-based program of study that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of the preferred: MastersExperience preferred: 3-5 years3-5 years of elementary math education experience preferred.
