Role Mission
The mission of this role is to support production managers in their daily operations and improve efficiency standardize and digitize highly manual processes in Biomat production area contributing to the operational transformation of the department. The focus will be on understanding analysing and optimizing operations across three key areas: Plasma Storage Chambers Plasma Classification Room and Biological Sample Archive
What your responsibilities will be
- You will support department managers in reviewing processes documentation and technical writing and will participate in staff training complying with quality and environmental directives.
- You will assist in monitoring indicators for the three (3) areas.
- You will review processes for receiving and storing merchandise according to requirements verify supplies according to delivery notes and provide support with inventory and maintenance controls.
- You will review shipments and packaging of merchandise for dispatch as well as the composition of loads and ensure that shipments comply with the corresponding legal specifications.
- You will support the review of the plasma thawing process ensuring that manufacturing batch records are documented in accordance with GMP.
- You will coordinate the sample archiving department (biorepository) and ensure sample storage and shipping according to customer needs and current regulations. You will maintain direct contact with the software vendor for technical support improvements and incidents.
- You will manage information and communication regarding the shipping and storage process through the SAP-SGP system.
- You will support key production managers in monitoring their improvement initiatives to achieve productivity goals.
- You will drive identify and execute the continuous review of global productivity initiatives in collaboration with key stakeholders to deliver value to our customers and the business.
- You will promote the use of Lean Six Sigma and other relevant improvement methodologies techniques and principles to support managers in each area in efficiency initiatives.
- You will analyse functional data (resource forecasts functional capacity KPIs actual times etc.) to provide insights/trends that enable process improvements in each area.
- Will lead digitalization and automation projects for processes in the three (3) areas: Plasma Storage Chambers Plasma Classification Room and Biological Sample Archive.
Who you are

- University degree in Industrial Engineering Mechanical Engineering Automotive Engineering or similar.
- Masters degree in manufacturing project management Continuous Improvement or similar is highly desirable.
- Minimum English level of B2.2. (Ability to communicate in technical environments (Essential).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial operational environments. Highly valued in warehousing and/or production.
- Experience in process improvement digitalization or automation projects.
- You have experience and/or knowledge of SAP. Highly valued.
- Practical experience using Lean Six Sigma methodologies etc. (Green/Black Belt Agile Design Thinking TPM Shingo). Highly valued.
- Experience managing data analysis and statistics (Python SQL Tableau Power BI). Highly valued.
- You are a person with skills to influence others during change processes as well as problem-solving communication skills numerical skills and a results-orientation.
