Who are we looking for

Our Environmental team is seeking an Automation Engineer to provide technical support for environmental remediation systems across the U.S. In this role youll apply your technical expertise to troubleshoot and maintain automation systems that play a vital role in protecting and restoring the environment. This role is part-time as needed and will require you to be on-call.

Responsibilities

  • Engineering Solutions Design: Design complex and/or innovative engineering solutions and the associated validation process to enable the realization of a design brief (for example in terms of functionality performance aesthetics and cost) that conforms to organizational and/or regulatory standards.
  • Installation Monitoring and Control: Translate installation monitoring and control policies into action plans aiming to meet specified safety and efficiency outcomes while guiding the wider business.
  • Technical Developments Recommendation: Lead the execution of strategic technical developments recommendation overseeing a significant area of responsibility.
  • Engineering Standards Specification: Design and develop engineering standards and specifications for an assigned engineering discipline to be adhered to by the organization and/or its suppliers contractors and consultants to ensure engineering work of the required quality is delivered and to manage the risks associated with engineering programs.
  • Needs Assessment: Engage with senior business leaders to understand long-term strategic challenges.

What you will bring to the team:

  • Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering
  • Minimum 25 years of experience troubleshooting & maintenance of environmental remediation systems
  • Able and willing to work an on-call schedule
