Aira is building one of Europes most advanced factories for air-to-water heat pumps. To strengthen our product quality capability we are establishing a dedicated Quality Investigation Team. When issues arise in customer installations defective units will be returned to our Wrocław site where this team will lead root-cause analysis define corrective actions and ensure robust improvements flow back into design production and service.
The successful candidate will bring proven experience from the HVAC or white goods industry with deep expertise in refrigeration circuits.
The Senior Quality Expert carries end-to-end responsibility for resolving technical quality issues across the entire customer journey from installation product and material performance and logistics through to post-market repair.
Acting as a critical link between our hardware and software engineering teams in Sweden our suppliers the Aira 1 factory and all markets this role is central to driving product reliability regulatory compliance and customer satisfaction.
Regular travel to local markets will be required to investigate issues on site and ensure swift permanent resolution.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate technical quality investigations across installation product materials logistics and repair to ensure root causes are identified and permanently resolved.
Define and secure product quality requirements and standards with Hardware and Software development teams in Sweden ensuring they are embedded in design and development.
Engage in design reviews and champion Design for Quality initiatives
Facilitate DFMEA and related risk analyses to ensure early identification and prevention of quality issues.
Act as an interface between Factory Quality and Hardware engineering team to guarantee that critical design characteristics are fully defined documented and validated before SOP ensuring robust product launch.
Provide targeted technical training for heat pump installers through the AIRA 1 Academy to resolve quality problems and prevent recurrence.
Foster a culture of rapid learning ensuring feedback loops are in place to eliminate repeat issues.
Champion the customer perspective in technical quality forums ensuring that decisions consistently reinforce product reliability and long-term trust.
What we expect
At least 810 years experience in quality or technical positions with a strong background in the HVAC or white goods industry.
Proven expertise with R290 refrigerant systems including hands-on application in design installation or troubleshooting.
Demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve complex product issues effectively.
Proven ability to apply quality tools (DFMEA 5 Why Ishikawa APQP PPAP) to drive root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
Demonstrated ability to train and mentor technical professionals with experience in installation or service contexts considered an advantage.
Demonstrated collaboration skills and a track record of successfully mobilising cross-functional teams in demanding situations.
Willingness and ability to travel to markets R&D centres and customer sites.
Polish and English fluency is essential; German and Italian will be considered a strong advantage.
