Cashier (Part-Time)

Approx. 20-25 hours per week / Evenings Saturday and Holidays
$15-$16/hour
Responsibilities
- Receive cash checks and credit card payments from customers; make correct change and issue receipts
- Operate switchboard telephone system by answering phones and directing customers to the appropriate department; strive to minimize hold time
- Handle customer complaints diplomatically and refer to appropriate department for resolution
- Be friendly professional courteous and efficient when working with customers and fellow employees
- Assist managers with various clerical duties as needed
Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft Office is a plus
- Available to work flexible hours including nights weekends and some holidays
- Ability to effectively communicate customer interests needs and requests to management and other personnel
- Professional appearance
