Summary:

This Preschool Teacher role is ideal for credentialed educators with experience or qualifications in early childhood development who believe in holding high expectations and delivering measurable results. The position emphasizes whole-child learning college-going culture and working with diverse families in urban education settings.
What You’ll Do:
• Develop and deliver standards-aligned lessons using Common Core and early childhood frameworks
• Backward-plan pacing guides assessments and measurable student goals
• Differentiate instruction and manage student behavior using research-based strategies
• Collect and use data to track progress and guide instruction
• Foster a safe inclusive and engaging classroom culture
• Communicate progress with families and support scholar growth holistically
Experience You’ll Need:
• Bachelor’s degree and valid CA Multiple Subjects PK–3 credential (or eligibility via STSP/PIP)
• 24 units in Early Childhood Education/Child Development OR equivalent professional experience
• Child Development Teacher Permit (issued by CTC)
• EL authorization to teach EL/SDAIE
• Experience in urban education a plus; bilingual Spanish highly desired
