Job Description
We are looking for a Backend Engineer (all genders) to join our Tech Portal Core team. Contribute to building and extend our next generation Tech Portal the central place for our engineers managers and leaders to discover information and automate tasks. If youre a creative problem solver who is eager to deliver solutions and hungry for a new adventure an international workplace is waiting for you in the heart of Berlin!
You will build our Tech Portal and associated integration and automations to help all the tech people in Delivery Hero to access information necessary to their daily work and to automate tasks.
You will be tasked with writing microservices and backend integrations between Tech Portal and other systems.
Collaborate on other projects with other DeliveryHero teams like CI/CD systems infrastructure data ML and more.
You will aim to have a good understanding of our internal engineers and managers problems to ensure we solve them more effectively and faster.
Qualifications :
Working experience with OpenAPI Golang.
Working experience with Postgres and BigQuery.
Experience working with AWS Google Cloud Platform or other cloud providers.
Good understanding of service-oriented and microservices architectural patterns troubleshooting methods and best practices.
4 years of professional experience.
You write unit behavior and integration tests for current and new scenarios with clean and well documented code.
Eagerness to work in a fast-paced fault-tolerant agile environment on cross-functional teams.
You love to learn and constantly improve your own skills and are not afraid to jump into new things.
You are running maintaining & deploying your own code to production.
Ability to make independent decisions and take ownership for them beyond deployment.
Nice to have:
Experience working with NodeJS Typescript or React
Experience with agentic assistants and ML powered applications or Python
