Job Description

Job Summary
This role includes leadership responsibilities related to student behavior staff support and school climate.
Job Responsibilities
Dean of Students:
Promote a positive school culture by consistently implementing behavior policies and restorative practices.
Manage student discipline including investigations consequences and follow-up communications with students and families.
Track behavior incidents and data to identify trends and provide interventions and supports.
Work proactively with students staff and families to prevent behavior issues and promote student well-being.
Dean of Staff:
Conduct classroom observations and provide constructive feedback to teachers and support staff.
Assist in the annual teacher evaluation process and support professional development planning.
Serve as a resource and mentor for staff supporting instructional best practices and classroom management.
Foster a collaborative respectful and growth-oriented staff culture.
Family & Community Engagement:
Serve as a consistent point of contact for parent concerns especially regarding behavior and special education.
Communicate clearly and compassionately with families to foster trust and build strong partnerships.
Participate in school events parent meetings and community engagement efforts.
Job Requirements
Experience in education student affairs or a related field is essential.
