We are looking for a Treasury Intern to join our team!
The Treasury Intern serves an important role supporting the Treasury this role you will assist with the daily upload of bank files processing of wire transfers GTreasury implementation and maintenance and bank account set ups. This is a role that you can grow with and where you can make meaningful contributions to the overall success of the note this internship is a year-round internship that must be able to work out of our Chicago Corporate Office.
How you will contribute to our team:
- Treasury:You will contribute to the daily and monthly activities that the Treasury team is responsible including processing of electronic payments stop payments and monitoring positive pay.
- Platform Growth:You will assist with projects that support the growth of the business including working with our treasury workstation opening and closing of bank accounts and other projects that enhance our processes and controls.
- Overall:Youll be an excellent teammate who helps create and deliver departmental and organizational goals including refining and introducing new Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
What our ideal candidate looks like:
- You have some credentials. You are a current undergraduate or graduate student working towards a degree. If you are pursuing a degree in accounting or finance its a huge plus!
- Youre a great communicator. You easily manage relationships and build rapport with others and youre a pro at keeping everyone informed and on the same page in a professional manner.
- You excel at details. You constantly analyze the fine print and make sure that your work product is highly accurate.
- Youre very tech savvy. You would consider yourself an advanced user of Microsoft Office especially Excel Word and Outlook.
- You like change; you really like change. You can easily adapt as the situation warrants and you are able to focus on multiple deadlines and change as the demands and fast pace requires.
