Job Description
We re looking for a Senior Principal Accountant (Capital & Treasury) for our public sector client based in Dudley on an initial 12-month contract paying up to 305 per day Inside IR35.
This role allows hybrid working with an expectation to attend the office 3 days per week.
You will need to be a qualified accountant ideally with strong experience in local government finance and have a solid understanding of Capital and Treasury Accounting regulations.
The successful Senior Principal Accountant will possess proven skills working with the following
Capital programme monitoring and reporting to senior leadership
Ensuring compliance with capital governance and external funding rules
Providing technical advice across departments on capital and treasury matters
Treasury function management: cash flow borrowing and investments
Drafting statutory documents: Capital Strategy Treasury Management Policy Investment Strategy
Financial accounting for capital treasury and leasing transactions
