Were hiring a Senior Copywriterto lead creative writing for Secret LairMagics experimental collectible sub-brand. This role sits at the intersection of product brand and marketing and helps shape how Secret Lair looks sounds and feels in the world.
Youll be involved from the beginning. Youll craft visuals through art briefs and build the voice that will be the first contact fans have with the brand. From product listings to flavor text youll write the words that connect it all.

What Youll Do:
Secret Lair is evolving. Were looking for a writer to help craft its voice and invent whats next. This role reports to the Senior Product Lead and works closely with creative product and marketing from concept to launch.
- Write sharp imaginative art briefs that translate product ideas into artist-ready creative direction
- Deliver flavor text that elevates the final card; align visuals voice and worldbuilding
- Write product copy sales briefs and launch assets; headlines emails banners and everything between
- Help evolve Secret Lairs creative voice and narrative strategy
- Collaborate with external brands to bring their IPs into Magic through co-branded releases
- Pitch a steady stream of bold product ideas that expand what Magic can be
- Help shape Secret Lairs brand beyond the cards - voice story and the weird spaces in between.
What Youll Bring:
- A portfolio that shows strong creative vision and compelling narratives and writing across formats
- Experience with launches brand storytelling and campaigns anchored by a sharp voice that is adaptable across tones characters or partner brands
- Clear respectful communication strong organization and a team-first approach with attention to detail
- A love for experimentation and stylistic range: voice tone format and a penchant for rule-breaking
- A track record of working closely with art directors product leads and marketers to bring ideas to life
- Ability to work fast and flexibly in tools like Slack Teams and content management systems
- A love for our weird wonderful realms of games collectibles and art with passion for Magic and Secret Lair.

The base salary range for this position is $105400.00 to $158200.00. The hiring range will vary based on factors such as experience skills location and market conditions. Additionally employees may be eligible for annual and long-term incentives as part of their overall compensation package.
