Job Title: Wealth Planning Assistant
Department: RIM
Location: London
Contract Type: Permanent
Reporting to: Hannah Goody
The Role
To help sustainably maintain and grow the client base by providing support to the Wealth planning team.
Outcomes of the Role
Creation of reports where necessary for Investment Management only business.
- Assisting paraplanners in creating Suitability Reports.
- Preparation of meeting notes and supporting documentation for planning reports. Preparation of meeting packs/review notes including portfolio performance asset/income schedules and estate notes.
- Attend client meetings where required.
- Able to articulate client circumstances and investment/planning needs.
- Keeping knowledge up to date about the global economy financial news markets tax legislation industry and regulatory environment.
- Have a working understanding of business systems proficiency (inc. RID InvestCloud Xplan).
- Keep up to date with Policies & procedural knowledge
Knowledge Skills and Experience
- Excellentinterpersonalskillswiththeabilitytocommunicateeffectively withInvestmentManagers and key stakeholders internally and externally.
- Exceptional focus on attention to detail and strong numericalskills.
- Highly IT literatewithanabilityto learn new systems.
- Excellentworkingknowledgeof Microsoft Office Word Excel and PowerPoint.
- Competent atworkingto deadlines and managing own time.
- Flexible attitude to work in response to changing workloads and deadlines within the team.
- Relevantinvestmentadministrationexperience. Working towards achieving the InvestmentAdvice Diploma (IAD):
- The successful candidate will beencouragedto study towards further qualifications.
