Job Description:
Grant Thornton is seeking an experienced Oracle HCM Solutions Architect to lead system integration and migrations as part of its enterprise-wide Application Modernization strategy. This role will serve as the technical and functional lead for Oracle HCM Cloud particularly focused on Core HR Payroll Talent and Compensation modules during the onboarding of newly acquired firms.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Serve as primary architect for Oracle HCM Cloud platform
- Lead HCM system integration and migration for M&A onboarding
- Design architecture and data alignment strategies for HRIS systems
- Collaborate with HR IT Finance and M&A teams to define migration and configuration plans
- Conduct iterative testing troubleshoot issues and optimize HCM configurations
- Ensure data integrity across HR modules and maintain compliance with standards
- Align HCM with enterprise systems (ERP Snowflake Microsoft 365 Dayshape etc.)
- Track Oracle updates assess applicability and implement relevant innovations
- Support platform roadmap planning and enhancement efforts
Required Skills:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or related field
- 7 years of IT/HRIS experience focused on Oracle HCM Cloud
- Expertise in Core HR Payroll Talent Compensation modules
- Strong knowledge of Oracle SOAP/REST APIs and HCM Data Loader
- Experience leading HCM migrations for M&A projects
- Understanding of functional configurations and HCM data architecture
- Experience with SQL/PLSQL and working knowledge of Snowflake and Informatica
- Excellent communication skills and experience delivering complex projects
- Familiarity with Fast Formula for HCM Data Loader
- Knowledge of enterprise integration platforms like Informatica IDMC
- Experience with lifecycle implementation methodology and best practices
- Ability to support cross-functional platform alignment and automation strategies
