Work Schedule: 9:00 AM 6:00 PM (AEST) 7:00 AM 4:00 PM (PH Time)

We are looking for a Senior Bookkeeper to manage financial records ensure compliance with accounting standards and support accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate for this role should demonstrate proficiency in accounting software meticulous attention to detail and the ability to streamline day-to-day financial operations. This role is critical for maintaining fiscal accuracy supporting audit readiness and ensuring seamless financial workflows.


What Youll Do:
  • Maintain and update financial records including accounts payable/receivable general ledger entries and bank reconciliations.
  • Assist in the processing payroll tax withholdings and prepare filings such as tax forms and compliance reports.
  • Support in the generation of financial statements (e.g. balance sheets profit/loss statements) and cash flow summaries.
  • Ensure adherence to accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage vendor invoices payment schedules and expense reports for accuracy and timeliness.
  • Track and categorize expenses to support budgeting forecasting and financial analysis.
  • Collaborate with accountants or auditors to resolve discrepancies and ensure audit readiness.
  • Reconcile discrepancies in financial data and implement corrective measures as needed.


Requirements

What You Bring

We re looking for someone who:

  • Bachelor s degree in accountancy Finance or a similar field.
  • 4 years of experience in bookkeeping accounting or a related role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Knowledge of accounting standards and requirements.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage high-volume transactions and deadlines.
  • Attention to detail for accurate data entry reporting and compliance tracking.
  • Effective communication skills for liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Job Summary: As the Assistant Accountant you will be joining a supportive Finance team operating from our headquarters based in Sydney. This is a full-time role working across the Financial Accounting function.
