Job Description
Job Title: Design Engineer
Develop and design components systems and products based on project specifications and requirements.
Create 2D/3D CAD models engineering drawings and technical documentation.
Perform design analysis feasibility studies and calculations to ensure functionality and safety.
Collaborate with production quality and R&D teams to optimize designs for manufacturability and cost-effectiveness.
Ensure compliance with industry standards codes and safety regulations.
Review and modify designs based on testing results and customer feedback.
Conduct design reviews prepare BOMs (Bill of Materials) and support prototype development.
Provide technical support to manufacturing and resolve any design-related issues.
Stay updated with the latest design trends tools and engineering best practices.
Essential Qualifications:
Bachelor s Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
Proven experience as a Design Engineer or in a similar role.
Strong understanding of engineering principles materials and manufacturing processes.
Skills Required:
Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD SolidWorks CATIA or similar).
Knowledge of design standards and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good understanding of FEA (Finite Element Analysis) and simulation tools (if applicable).
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
