Job Description
The supervisor plays a key role in overseeing vessel loading and unloading operations and managing the handling of our clients cargo. They also lead initiatives focused on health and safety operational excellence customer service quality environmental stewardship and employee engagement.
Your Role:
- Plan and allocate lifting equipment and heavy machinery resources
- Dispatch tasks and manage a team of twenty longshoremen
- Coordinate the execution of work to meet agreed timelines
- Oversee safe work practices and enforce standards
- Drive continuous improvement in methods and resource use
- Ensure client satisfaction by keeping stakeholders informed

- Is available to work on a rotating schedule including weekends and night shifts
- Thrives working outdoors in a routine-free environment
- Enjoys working with industrial equipment and heavy machinery
