Job Description
Our highly regarded Environmental team in Darwin is seeking Graduate to Professional-level Environmental Scientists and Engineers to support a wide range of exciting and meaningful projects across the Defence government mining and energy sectors.
At AECOMs Darwin office youll gain hands-on experience in:
- Environmental impact assessment and approvals
- Contaminated land investigations and remediation
- Hydrology hydrogeology and water quality monitoring
- Biodiversity surveys and ecological assessments
- Environmental management planning and auditing

What will a day in this role look like:
- Conducting fieldwork in diverse and remote environments across the NT and beyond
- Supporting or leading the preparation of environmental assessments management plans and technical reports
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality client-focused outcomes
- Engaging with clients regulators and stakeholders to support project delivery and business development efforts
- Contributing to a positive team culture and collaborative knowledge-sharing environment
Qualifications :

What are we looking for from you
- A degree in Environmental Science Engineering or a related field and a valid Australian drivers licence
- A strong interest or experience in environmental approvals contaminated land or ecological fieldwork with 1 years relevant experience
- Able to work independently manage competing priorities and get involved across a wide range of projects while contributing to a supportive team-focused environment
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to translate technical concepts clearly
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to work independently when needed
- A proactive attitude curiosity to learn and a commitment to delivering quality work
