We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading organisation within the logistics and supply chain sector known for its innovative technology-driven approach to last-mile delivery and operational efficiency.
As they continue to expand their operations an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to join the business and play a pivotal role in supporting a high-volume workforce across multiple delivery sites.
The successful candidate will drive key people initiatives contribute to organisational development and ensure strong alignment between HR strategies and operational goals.
Duties
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned to the organisations logistics and delivery operations.
- Lead workforce planning and talent deployment initiatives particularly around peak periods and high-turnover environments.
- Support succession planning and career development for key operational roles.
- Shape organisational design to meet evolving business needs.
- Champion employee engagement through strong ER practices and compliance with UK employment law.
- Use data and workforce analytics (e.g. turnover time-to-fill cost-per-hire) to guide HR decision-making.
The Candidate
- Minimum of 5 years HR experience within logistics supply chain or delivery environments in the UK.
- In-depth knowledge of UK employment law and its application in operational settings.
- Proven background in workforce planning employee relations and organisational development.
- Confident stakeholder management skills capable of influencing across all business levels.
