The opportunity
Working from our facility in Castle Donington Derby you will play an important role in the TP Aerospace Group. You will be responsible for driving shop growth and ensuring all maintenance activities are conducted in compliance with the company exposition and relevant regulatory regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Your tasks will revolve around the daily operation of the MRO (Part-145) facility including but not limited to:
- Responsible for the overall performance of the Aircraft Wheels and Brakes Maintenance Repair Organization (MRO).
- Ensure satisfactory completion and certification of work required by Contracted Operators and Customers in accordance with the work specification Work Order and MOE procedures.
- Ensure that the organisations procedures and standards are complied with when carrying out maintenance and ensure the competence of all personnel engaged in maintenance.
- In conjunction with the Compliance Monitoring & Safety Manager establish a program of training and continuation training using Internal and External sources Maintenance instructions Quality and Safety Bulletins On-the-Job Instructions.
- Examination/Testing as necessary and keeping a record of all training and experience of maintenance/repair-related personnel.
- Ensuring that all sub-contract orders are correctly detailed and that the requirements of the contract/order are fulfilled in respect of inspection and quality control.
- Provide feedback to the Quality System about the services provided by contracted Organisations Suppliers and Subcontractors.
- Respond to quality deficiencies which arise from the independent quality and safety audits.
- Ensure that the quality of workmanship in the final product is to a standard acceptable to the organisation and the UK CAA/EASA and Implement the safety policy and human factor issues.
- Ensure that the facilities are appropriate for the planned work including the workshops office accommodation and stores and ensure that the working environment is appropriate for the tasks being undertaken.
- Control the incoming inspection of components parts materials tools and equipment and classification segregation and storage according to the manufacturers recommendations.
- Develop a production planning system appropriate to the amount and complexity of the maintenance scope of work and ensure the availability of all necessary maintenance data as required by Part 145.A.45.
- Manage OPEX postings and reporting for TPA UK
We seek a talent that can identify with the below
- You are acceptable to CAA/EASA via the Form 4 process and is expected as a minimum to have held an equivalent appropriate position under CAA/EASA Part 145.
- You have held a leadership position for two or more years in an CAA/EASA Part 145 maintenance/repair activity.
- You have aeronautical product maintenance experience of more than two years showing competency to hold responsible manager position.
- You have qualifications from a higher level of education authority to a global equivalent. Good interpersonal and communication skills
