Job Description

Overview

Advanced Technologies and Laboratories (ATL) a Planned Systems International (PSI) company is hiring for a Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor in Richland WA.

This position will support Navarro-ATL. Navarro-ATL is located in Richland WA and operates manages and maintains the 222-S Laboratory Complex for the Department of Energy. Navarro-ATL members are Navarro Research and Engineering Inc. (Oak Ridge TN) and Advanced Technologies and Laboratories International (Gaithersburg MD).

Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will provide leadership and oversight to field work activities including but not limited to the planning and execution of mechanical pipefitting/plumbing maintenance repair and/or installation work activities. They will ensure field personnel are compliant with company-mandated and other applicable policies procedures programs and regulations including DOE directives personnel safety environmental compliance and safety of the general public.

Under general managerial oversight:

  • Supports planning and execution of corrective and preventative maintenance work activities.
  • Promotes a positive safety-conscious and collaborative work environment consistent with the HLMI mission vision and values based upon openness trust communication teamwork empowerment innovation and satisfaction.
  • Implements ISMS VPP and EMS responsibilities in assigned area(s) of responsibility.
  • Provides leadership and oversight for ensuring the requisite level of conduct of operations safety management program implementation and compliance in the planning and execution of these
  • Plans/executes multiple complex field activities with a demonstrated record of successful schedule execution.
  • Ensures work packages are technically correct and capable of being performed safely and efficiently.
  • Resolves work and safety issues to permit safe and efficient performance of work in the field.
  • Reviews and approves maintenance technical procedures (preventive maintenance); conduct field validation of technical procedures.
  • Provides status and communicates work scope at Plan of the Day and Plan of the Week meetings.
  • Resolves resource and schedule issues.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

  • BA/BS degree in a related discipline and 8 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

Desired Qualifications

  • Previous experience with Bargaining Unit employees nuclear facility experience experience with Collective Bargain Agreements.
  • Extensive experience in repairing/maintaining industrial machinery and piping systems.

Compensation

Grade 18: $106663 - $134588

Grade 19: $117225 - $147775

The grade level offered to the selected candidate will be based on business needs and the candidates education training and/or relevant experience.
