About the Role:
Occupli are delighted to exclusively partner with a leading FMCG multinational to recruit for a Maintenance Team Leader. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring the smooth operation maintenance and continuous improvement of all site equipment and systems.
Reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager the Maintenance Team Leader will play a pivotal role in managing daily maintenance activities leading a high-performing team and contributing to the overall reliability and efficiency of the site.
Key Responsibilities:
- IWS (Integrated Work Systems) Maintenance Lead: Actively coach and support teams in the implementation of IWS drive process improvements and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
- Deputising for the Maintenance Manager: Assume full maintenance management responsibilities during absences ensuring seamless operations and performance.
- Daily Team Leadership: Assist in managing and directing day-to-day activities of the maintenance team setting priorities assigning tasks and ensuring minimal disruption to production.
- Maintenance Execution: Oversee both planned preventative and reactive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal plant performance.
- Collaboration & Alignment: Participate in regular cross-functional meetings to align maintenance goals with broader operational and business objectives.
Requirements
- City & Guilds qualification or equivalent (Electrical qualification strongly preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated leadership experience within a maintenance or engineering team.
- Strong technical background with hands-on experience in equipment and system maintenance.
- Proven ability to lead coach and develop high-performing teams.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to manage shifting maintenance needs effectively.
