Oversee the installation maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment in the pulp and tissue manufacturing lines.
Implement and manage a preventive maintenance schedule to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
Troubleshoot mechanical failures and work closely with electrical and automation teams to resolve plant issues quickly.
Lead or support mechanical modifications or upgrades to production systems to improve efficiency and output.
Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities work orders and spare parts usage.
Ensure adherence to health safety and environmental standards in all mechanical operations.
Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and contribute to continuous improvement projects.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to local technicians and maintenance teams.
Liaise with suppliers and contractors for sourcing parts and mechanical services when required.
Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
Minimum of 5 years experience in a mechanical engineering role within an industrial or manufacturing setting.
Strong knowledge of rotating equipment hydraulic systems pumps gearboxes and conveyors.
Familiarity with maintenance management systems (CMMS) and engineering documentation.
Excellent diagnostic troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Strong organizational and communication abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to relocate to Ghana for a full-time role.
Must be a citizen of Nigeria with valid travel documentation.
Full Time
