Summary

The Department of Adult & Juvenile Detention is accepting applications to fill one (1) full-time Inventory Purchasing Specialist II vacancy at the Judge Patricia H. Clark Children and Family Justice Center in Seattlewith theJuvenile Detention Division. The job duties will include purchasing goods and services and ensuring documentation and inventory control stocking/receiving cataloging and filing specialized items and keeping accurate records. The Inventory Purchasing Specialist II has a working knowledge of purchasing policies and inventory systems and works independently with minimal supervision.

WORK SCHEDULE:This position will work a 40-hour work week and is overtime eligible. Standard work hours are Monday through Friday. Typical work hours are 0800-1630 (with a half hour unpaid lunch). There is some limited flexibility in the work hours (to be determined on a case-by-case basis).

WORK LOCATION:The individual selected for this position will work within a secure juveniledetentionsettingandwillbeassignedtothe Judge Patricia H. Clark .

SELECTION PROCESS:The individuals selected for these positions will be required to complete a thorough background investigation process including fingerprinting criminal history check and reference checks. A valid Washington State Drivers License to travel around the County is required by the time of hire.
