Job Description

Skills and Competencies

  • First experience in a sales business development or account management role within a software or financial services organization.
  • Background or knowledge in fixed-income credit or financial software is a plus.
  • Professional fluency in English and Italian French or German is essential.
  • Confident phone manner with strong objection-handling skills.
  • Clear and effective written communication.
  • Creative problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues and develop solutions.
  • Strong multitasking abilities and capacity to meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment with high attention to detail.
  • Goal-oriented mindset with a focus on performance metrics.
  • Proficiency in internet research Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator and Salesforce is advantageous.

Education

  • Bachelors degree preferred; degree in finance economics or a related field is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales growth by identifying and qualifying new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound outreach.
  • Collaborate with Account Managers and Sales Representatives to develop strategic account plans and territory coverage.
  • Route qualified leads to the appropriate sales professionals for further development and closure.
  • Co-design and execute targeted sales campaigns to enhance Moodys brand visibility and market presence.
  • Conduct research to gather contact information and account intelligence enabling a deeper understanding of customer needs and informing sales and marketing strategies.
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities using CRM software.

Our Sales Development team plays a critical role in expanding our customer base and supporting the broader sales organization. By joining our team you will contribute to the growth of our pipeline collaborate with cross-functional teams and gain valuable experience that can lead to further career development within the sales function.
